Serious Jest:  (Don’t Bother)  There are some children’s films that are so well done that adults enjoy watching them just as much as kids do; this is not one of them.  In all fairness, I didn’t watch this in 3-D, but then again, there are only 2 scenes in which I imagine the 3-D would have made any difference.  This movie just tried to capitalize on an already-successful franchise, added nothing-special animation, and was generally not-creative in its story and jokes.  The only well-done aspect of this film was the acting.  You’re better off watching the old Hanna Barbera cartoons with your kid.
