Serious Jest:  (Free View)  Imagine an Indiana Jones movie shot from the natives’ perspective: Indy is a douche-bag thief disturbing ancient artifacts that are hidden for a good reason, the natives aren’t gonna tolerate his Manifest-Destiny complex, and they’ve got a hero of their own who’s willing to teach these meddling white boys a lesson they won’t soon forget.  Okay, this movie is not as cool as I just made it sound, but that’s basically its premise.  In any case, I’m kind of a sucker for archaelogy-adventure movies, Williams was especially entertaining as a supreme A-hole villain, and it’s fun watching Swanson and a young, sexy Catherine Zeta-Jones go at it.  So, even though this movie is both cheesy and hokey at times, it’s entertaining enough that it’s worth the time to watch it if you’re bored.  Disclaimer: I never read the comic book series.
