Serious Jest: (Free View) This film’s plot is unique, kind of ludicrous, and much more fun than its synopsis sounds. I like when the setting of a movie almost becomes a character in itself, and New York City is a living, breathing part of this flick. The characters are interesting, different, and well-acted. There are some funny moments (and most of them are dark comedy), but no gut-busters that I can think of. I can’t quite call this one a must-see, but it is time well-spent if you’ve got some time to kill.
